Camp Forget-Me-Not

The Alive Hospice organization provides specialized care to persons with limited life expectancy and to their families.  For the past 17 years, Alive Hospice (formerly Hospice of Murfreesboro) has conducted a day camp for children who have experienced the loss of a close loved one.

Junior League members may volunteer with Camp Forget-Me-Not as support staff during the camp week.  Our members foster a caring and loving atmosphere by helping children in grades K-6 enjoy a fun camp experience that advances the healing process after the death of his or her loved one.  JLM members serve as recreation and trained group discussion leaders.  Members must complete a 12-hour training course provided by Hospice to participate in the camp.
