at McFadden School of Excellence (Elementary School) * Community Resource Guide * Free Food * Door Prizes and Give Aways * Children's Activites * Free Coats * Free Books * Child Care Available The Women's Day Fair is a free event held by the Junior League of Murfreesboro to provide information about community resources for women in need. Representatives from the community are on hand with information on job services & interview training, health care access, counseling, scholarships for continuing education and much more. Individuals also have an opportunity to speak with different organizations like our Signature Project recipient, Greenhouse Ministries, if they are in need of immediate help. In addition to the fair, the League also distributes the Community Resource Guide, updated annually, listing available community services. This guide provides contact information to many helpful resources. The JLM new member class works on the WDF each year as a New Member class project with the guidance of the New Member and Women's Day Fair committees to serve those in need. For more information about the event or access to a Resource Guide, please contact Women's Day Fair Chair, Christine Sanders at Christine.Sanders@Asurion.com.
