Mission Statement
The Junior League of Murfreesboro is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.  Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

Reaching Out Statement 
The Junior League of Murfreesboro reaches out to women of all races, religions and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and a commitment to voluntarism.

Vision Statement
We are a diverse group of women building a better community through a commitment to advocacy, leadership, multiculturalism and a commitment to children.

Focus Areas
Our focus areas are Women and Children at Risk, Educational Disadvantage, Health, Voluntarism and Quality of Life.

What We Do
We explore the needs of our community, concentrating on our focus areas.  We establish or affiliate with projects and programs to meet those needs.  We provide trained volunteers and financial assistance. 

Affiliation
The Junior League of Murfreesboro is a member of the Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc. (AJLI).  There are 294 Junior Leagues throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and Great Britain with a collective membership of almost 200,000 women.
